Jackson Square, NOLA

Jackson square is right in the heart of the French Quarter, and is surrounded by historic buildings, one of which is the site for the signing of the Louisiana Purchase. The St Louis Cathedral, which you see here, is the oldest continuously operating Catholic church in the United States.
