Photographing baby Emerson's birth has to be one of the most magical moments for me .... ever. While I was photographing the mother in labor I felt so empowered that women can do this, that women can give birth and that women do it all the time. It opened my eyes to the beauty of motherhood, the beauty of pain, and the beauty of love.
