The big reveal ... the first look ... whatever you call it, it's beautiful and sweet. I love when brides and grooms do this because it's always special.

LDS Adoption - Hannay Family

Last week I was asked to photograph the LDS sealing of a family to their adopted daughter. Since photography isn't allowed inside the building I was only allowed to photograph them in front of the Temple and outside with their families, both immediate and extended. The birth mother was there, too, which was particularly special. I was overjoyed to have been asked to attend this special moment with this family. Thank you, thank you!

The Bench Family

This little man, Huck, is to die for. His face, his legs, and his smile are perfect. Huck also couldn't have cooler parents if he had hand-picked them himself! This shoot made me happy in a way I simply can't explain.

Mirror Lake, Utah

Have you ever been to Mirror Lake? No? Ummm, go. Make the drive because it's beautiful anyway and you can say you traveled somewhere new. In the summer I hear it can be pretty packed but, because it's nearly winter, I enjoyed a peaceful and calm morning there with my lovely friend and fellow photographer, Jamie Morse.
