Hello everyone! Meet Jamie, my sister-in-law. She is a babe beyond all reasoning! She just moved from Santa Barbara, California to Provo, Utah and I had to photograph her before she left! I just had to.

[ Whodidily's cupcake decorating party ]

Whodidily is a cupcakery that specializes in hosting cupcake decorating parties for all ages!! This particular party was a Valentine's Day party with cupcakes as the main event. However, there were candy necklaces being made and heart-shaped boxes designed with stickers hearts. All the kids (aged 2 - about 10) were so darling and were singing along to cute songs from something out of Willy Wonka's Factory! Wendy, the owner of Whodidily, arranged for me to be the photographer there. It was definitely an unusual, and amazing, opportunity.

[ Amanda & Ryan ]

Amanda and Ryan are engaged to be married in March. So, really soon! We met up in Valenica, CA and took some pictures outside Starbucks. Yes, Starbucks. It was raining so we met inside and when it cleared up we headed outside right before sunset. They are both so sweet and lovable! See you guys soon!!

[ Rain & Umbrella ]

Today it is raining for the second day in a row here in Santa Barbara. I must say, I am enjoying it much more than I thought! For one, it makes my staying indoors and in bed all day seem justified. And two, it sounds absolutely delightful. There is nothing better than waking up to the sound of the stream behind my apartment, swollen from the pouring rain. I love it and, of course, the sound the rain makes when hitting my green umbrella, green only to match my green car. Seriously.

[ Surprise! ]

Yesterday I came home from work and to my lovely surprise I found a little package waiting for me on my doorstep. What was it? Well, try to remember back to when I photographed all those headbands and hairpieces for Mari Elizabeth Couture and then you'll know what I am talking about. Mari created a lovely hairpiece for me to wear on my wedding day, which is now only three weeks away! Thank you Mari!

[ Blossoms ]

Blossoms at Alice Keck Park, which happens to be my favorite park in Santa Barbara. It's location is unexpected and almost feels like a zoo with all the ducks, turtles, goldfish and koi you'll find in the pond.

[ Costco ]

Here are some pictures of Katelyn and Danielle, friends of mine. We went to lunch at the all-so-classy Costco and enjoyed $1.50 hot dogs with a soda in the lovely Saturday afternoon (sorry to all of you in subzero temperatures).
